Last week we had our annually recurring Global Day. The theme of the day was ‘Fanaticism”, a topic with may points of view. The students worked on the subtheme’s religious fanaticism, football hooliganism, political fanaticism, animal rights’ activists and environmental activists.
They all made amazing presentations with movies, podcasts, digital posters and role plays. We, in the work team, are extremely impressed.
Global Day is not only a day for creativity and gathering with friends. Also, it is a day of becoming more globally aware. One of the aims with the IB program is to develop young people to inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world.
